8th Grade Invention Convention

Rittman Middle School selects Top Inventors to compete at the Ohio Invention Convention & Entrepreneurship Competition.

Area judges for the Rittman Middle School Invention Convention competition got a chance to see just how creative our youth of today can be when it comes to solving problems and inventing solutions to them.  On Thursday, March 21st, Rittman Middle School held their Annual Invention Convention competition, where all 8th grade students competed for top honors.   Local judges selected the top student inventors to advance to the Ohio Invention Convention & Entrepreneurship Competition this summer.
Madison Pelfrey took top honors with her No Fuss, No Muss, Drizzle Jelly, an airless pump bottle to distribute jelly.  Lillian Cooper and Sapphire Smith join her in moving on to the state competition.  They created Effortless Eye Black, stencis that stick to your skin to apply eye black.  These 3 students, with their inventions, will move on.  Congratulations winners and Good Luck at the state competition!
