Middle School News
As of 2/23/2015, the Rittman Schools have used 8 calamity days. Three make-up days are required at this time. The date of graduation has NOT been affected.
As a reminder, make-up days include March 30-31 and April 1-2 (in that order).
At this time, students will attend school on March 30, 2015, March 31, 2015, and April 1, 2015.
Congratulations to the following RMS Students who were selected to be the February/March Students of the Month!
Students who will be in grades 9-12 NEXT year and are intersted in taking any classes for College Credit MUST fill out the COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS APPLICATION and turn it in to the office by Tues March 31st. Any student that does not fill this out and return it to the office by the Tuesday, March 31st will be removed from consideration of any college course.
Camp Y-Noah for the 7th grade students is scheduled for May 13th - 15th and the money is due by April 24th. This year the cost is $70.00 per student. If finances are a burden to the family, call the MS office to set up a payment plan for your student. Make checks payable to the Parents + Organization.
Rittman Youth Soccer will continue to be run by the Rittman Varsity Soccer Staff and coached by parent volunteers and high school soccer players! Athletes will learn ball skills (dribbling, passing, and shooting), game management, and the rules of the game, and most importantly have fun playing soccer in Rittman!
1st Practice is April 6, 2015 from 4:30 - 6:00 and will take place at the HS Band Practice Field (located just outside the Athletic entrance of the High School)
Rittman Youth Soccer will host 2 practices a week for each athlete. Games will be held Saturday Mornings in Rittman from 9:00-12:00. There will be a minimum of 6 games.
Grades K-5 will play in Rittman $30/player
Grades 6-8 will play in Wooster $40/player
