Hard copies of the Booklet and also an "RHS Local Scholarships" application were mailed to the home of each Senior over Holiday Break. PLEASE NOTE that Due Dates are the dates which the scholarships need to be submitted to the Scholarship Committee listed... not a date to turn them into the Guidance Office. Almost all scholarships below are to be submitted to the Scholarship Committee directly. Thank you!

Mensa Education and Research Foundation Scholarship Essay Contest - Application Due: December

University of Akron’s Choose Ohio First Stem Scholarship - provides renewable scholarships for up to $5200 a year for students who are studying Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Medicine or students interested in teaching in those fields.
The only qualifications to receive their renewable, $4000/year scholarship AND to be part of a program with a retention/graduation rate well over 90% are that a student plans to attend UA and pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or teaching math or science. American Municipal Power - Applicant's household must receive power from a Public Power Community or parent must work for AMP. Application is below. Due: January

KFC Kolonel's Scholars Program - Must be attending a PUBLIC university in Ohio, have a 2.75 cum GPA, present financial need, and be pursuing a bachelor's degree. Click HERE to visit their site. Due: February

Streeter Scholarship - For students and professionals looking to enhance their education in the field of medical practice management. Please see the attachment below for more information. Due: August

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program- awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year. Students will submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of their web site. Due: June

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Approximately 20 students will receive $10,000 renewable scholarships. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Click HERE for more information. Due: February

Cargill Community Scholarship - 350 scholarships available, each worth $1,000. Based on academic achievement, leadership, and civic activities. Visit their site HERE to gain access to the application. Due: February

Cavaliers and Majestic Steel - Four $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to Seniors who intend to pursue a career in manufacturing at Cuyahoga Community College, Lakeland Community College, or Lorain Community College. Application can be found below. Due: March

Cavaliers and First Merit - Ten $2,000 scholarships will be awarded. Criteria for awarding will be based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities (school, community, and work), essay, and interview. Application and more information can be found below. Due: February

Wayne County Community Foundation Scholarships - Please check the "scholarship booklet" or the Foundation's website for qualifications. The applications can be found below by name on the Foundations website. Due: varies
