Financial Aid Information

Need help understanding your Financial Aid offer? Click HERE for a handbook with details.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  Be sure to use this official website.  Available online for the 2013-2014 school year after January 1, 2013.  A guide with answers to many FAQ can be found in the attachments below.
 
The University System of Ohio has a video on its website to help families complete the FAFSA. It provides tips and advice for filling out and filing the FAFSA. The OhioHigherEd.org website also features a fact sheet about the FAFSA that answers potential questions.

Specific Questions about how to file the FAFSA should be directed to the FINANCIAL AID office of which ever colleges you plan to attend.

OASFFA- College Goal Sunday - Held during the month of February. This is a brilliant workshop, where if you bring your financial information,including tax returns and bank statements, professionals will be on hand to walk you through and help you submit your FAFSA. This is the easiest and most pain-free way to complete the FAFSA.

Wayne College in Orrville also offers FREE help with the FAFSA for any area Senior (you do not have to be planning to attend Wayne to use this free service).
You should call (330)684-8942 for dates and times, to make a reservation, and to find out what all you need to bring with you in order to complete your FAFSA.

College.gov is being built by the U.S. Dept. of Ed. in collaboration with students. This site is intended to be the go-to source for information and resources about planning, preparing and paying for postsecondary education (such as 2- or 4-year colleges and universities, as well as vocational or career schools).
